Going Online, a one-day workshop for high school journalism teachers who want to start a news web site or take their print publications online, will be held Monday, December 6, 2010, at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
The workshop will provide high school journalism teachers with the following:
- Basic instruction and material on how to teach web journalism;
- A content management system, server space and maintenance for their news web sites – all at no cost;
- Information about the Interscholastic Online News Network (ISONN), an association of high school web sites that will connect your school’s site to many others around the nation.
The workshop is sponsored by the UT School of Journalism and Electronic Media and the Intercollegiate Online News Network (ICONN).
Cost of the workshop is $35 per teacher.
Can’t come to the workshop but would
still like to establish an ISONN site?
Here’s how you can do it.
